Resilient Flooring Warranty

Warranty coverage is exclusive to the resident homeowner or commercial property owner who is the original purchaser of the Bering resilient floor products, coverage does not extend to any following homeowners or occupants.
This warranty coverage applies only to specific manufacturing defects such as delamination (flooring top layer starts to separate from the core), loss of quality in the original pattern or color pigmentation due to fading or wear, as long as the flooring application falls under the conditions of normal residential use and has been installed and maintained as directed with the resilient warranty care & maintenance guide that were included in the sold package.
Claims relating to the following issues will not be covered under this warranty:
  • · Solid and darker colors where the appearance of scratches and dirt are more visible.
  • · Shading-related claims for an overall white floor with touching white planks or tiles.
  • · Damage caused by fire, flood, moisture penetration because of subfloor emissions, deliberate abuse, damage from vacuum cleaners, indentations or damage caused by rolling loads, chairs or other furniture where suitable floor protection or caster wheels have not been used, cutting from sharp objects, stains caused by asphalt or rubber mats, surface scratches, variations in color or sheen due to over exposure of a natural light source, exterior use or loss as a result of inconvenience, loss of time, incidentals or special damages.
  • · Construction-related damage
  • · Subtle differences in shading, color or texture between flooring samples and the delivered product.
  • · Improper acclimatation to the suitable room temperature which may result in a void warranty.
Bering's resilient flooring products are warranted against manufacturing defects in craftsmanship and material for 30 years following the original installation when used in residential applications (non-commercial use) and are warranted for 10 years following the original installation when installed for light commercial or other applications. **Please review complete warranty for a detailed breakdown of warranty services that vary based on the years following the installation.
If you suspect a defect that falls within approved warranty coverage, you must directly report it to the Bering retailer where you purchased the flooring, your retailer will be able to file the claim for you. Engineered Wood Flooring Warranty

Warranty coverage is exclusive to the resident homeowner or commercial property owner who is the original purchaser of the Bering resilient floor products, coverage does not extend to any following homeowners or occupants.
Bering warrants to the original purchaser that its engineered wood flooring will remain free from manufacturer defects related to milling, delamination, dimension, and grading throughout the duration of the warranty term. Bering also warrants against any manufacturing defects because of improper milling and/or grading.
Claims relating to the following issues will not be covered under this warranty:
  • · Damage to nearby structures, walls, subfloors, fixtures or anything beyond the actual flooring product.
  • · Damage related to the growth of mold & mildew as a result of long-term moisture exposure.
  • · Flooring installed in unsuitable environments.
  • · Damage caused by fire, flood, moisture penetration because of subfloor emissions, deliberate abuse, damage from household cleaning, indentations or damage where suitable floor protection has not been used.
  • · Construction-related damage
  • · Subtle differences in shading, color or texture between flooring samples and the delivered product.
  • · Improper acclimatation to the suitable room temperature.
  • · Damage arising from improper installation including unapproved products, tools and/or methods
  • · Seasonal checking of plank surface associated with seasonal temperature changes
  • · Alterations made to factory-applied finish through recoating, staining or refinishing
  • · Fading or staining caused by exposure to natural sunlight or UV rays
